Mobile App v1.17.0 - Your Workout Finish Line

v1.17.0 gives every workout a finish line - a clear, celebratory ending to a session - and rounds it out with broader personal-record detection and smarter scoring.

Workout Finish Line

When you're done logging, tap Finish workout. Instead of an open-ended score dialog, you get a completion screen that celebrates the day: a rotating montage of the movements you hit, an acknowledgment of the work, confetti for any PRs you set, and a spot to jot how it felt. Then it drops you onto the full session recap.

  • A real ending to the session, with your PRs front and center.
  • An optional note saves straight to the session.
  • Re-finishing an already-celebrated session stays quiet - no repeat confetti.

Thanks to Rafael Marin, whose question - "is it saved? what now?" - sparked this.

More Personal Records

Personal records used to fire only for barbell loads, distances, and holds. Now they also cover bodyweight movements (pull-ups, burpees, muscle-ups, double-unders), loaded carries, calorie machines, box-jump height, and cardio pace - so a new max set of pull-ups or a faster row gets the recognition it earned. The session view also shows per-set pace for runs and rows.

Smarter Scoring

Scoring now fits how you actually trained:

  • Vest workouts like Murph and Riley grade against vest-specific standards, so a vested effort isn't compared to a no-vest benchmark (and vice versa).
  • Benchmark charts grey out with a clear reason when a scaled effort can't be graded fairly, instead of silently dropping your marker.

A Bigger Movement Library

31 new movements joined the catalog this release - holds and carries (GHD hold, Zercher carry, overhead hold), bench and press variations (incline, decline, behind-the-neck push press), accessories (Cossack squat, windmill, pullover, belt squat), and cardio machines (elliptical, VersaClimber) - so more of what you train maps to a real movement with its own icon and history.

A Tidier App

Menus, dialogs, and toggles now share one consistent style across the app, and every number pad gets a Done button to dismiss the keyboard without tapping away from the field.

Also Improved

  • CrossFit Linchpin joins the whiteboard alongside CrossFit.com and PushJerk, and adding any whiteboard workout is now near-instant - each provider's programming is parsed once ahead of time into a reusable workout.
  • A cleaner, more consistent look: unified menus, dialogs, and toggles, Rx/vest/time-cap tap-pills, and a Done button above every keyboard.
  • The WOD benchmark chart opens expanded by default.
  • Coach now notices when today stacks load on a body part you've already been training this week, and can suggest a way to scale.
  • Run+reps WODs (Nicole, Helen, Murph) no longer count run meters as reps in the Rep Chart, and a low score no longer drops movements from the card. Thanks to salarismirko for the report.
  • Multi-station races (HYROX) now keep a Scaled marking instead of snapping back to Rx, and adding to a session is steadier under load.
  • Weights now display in the unit you logged, with more precise kilogram conversions. Thanks to Antonio for the report.
