Mobile App v1.21.0 - Workout Timer

v1.21.0 is about the clock. The workout timer now lives where you train: inside Log and inside the WOD card you are already using to record the work.

Workout Timer

Start an AMRAP, For Time, EMOM, or interval timer from the Log add menu. Once it starts, the clock can collapse into a small top pill so you can move around the app without losing the countdown. Timer cues call out the key moments, and when the clock is done you can finish with the result ready to log.

The same timer is now available from WOD score rows. For a time-scored workout, tap the timer, train, then finish and log the time back onto the workout instead of copying it by hand.

Cleaner WOD logging

The WOD card is reorganized around the two things you do most: Score and Sets & reps. Score mode keeps the headline result front and center. Sets & reps keeps detailed movement work clear, including loads, percentages, completion checks, and per-set edits.

Cleaner WOD logging with Score, Sets & reps, and Prepare

Prepare now holds the material you look at before or around the workout: benchmarks, history, insights, strategy, and the WOD description. Benchmark charts can focus on one score at a time with a dated Your scores strip, the "why these levels" note sits under the chart, long coaching notes collapse behind See more, and custom WOD analysis only shows calculation progress after you explicitly ask for it.

Scoring and WOD data

Several scoring fixes will make logged work read more accurately:

  • JT benchmark levels have been recalibrated to realistic community standards, so a 12:21 Rx finish no longer grades as Rookie. Thanks to Antonio for flagging it.
  • XENOM 007 now uses its own Rhino Deadlift movement and provisional total-power scoring instead of conventional Deadlift load scoring, so logging it no longer pollutes Deadlift history.
  • Kilogram-loaded WODs such as Xenom and Hyrox now stay Rx when you log in kg or switch to movement details, instead of flipping to scaled through unit conversion noise.
  • Mixed WOD rounds with athlete-choice movements keep Rx when the details still match the prescription.
  • Rep-scored AMRAPs now record the full ladder across every completed round, and score-mode logging completes the underlying movement sets so stats and history reflect the work you actually did.
  • Endurance benchmark targets for standalone run, row, and SkiErg workouts were corrected from reviewed anchors, so levels and pace/split explanations are more consistent.

Also in this release

  • AI Coach now sees workouts you have planned for the next 7 days, treats planned-but-not-started work correctly, and lets suggestions be added to today, tomorrow, or a picked date. Thanks to Antonio for flagging the planned work issues.
  • AI Coach same-day awareness is now active for everyone and remembered injury or pain constraints are handled more conservatively.
  • Movement detail screens now show more demo videos, including Squat Clean, Clean, Wall Ball, Devil Press, and Goblet Squat.
  • The home recovery and strain strip can expand to the last four weeks, and tapping another day switches the breakdown instead of closing it.

  • My Fitness benchmark cards use WOD and movement icons across Profile, Fitness Level, and Training Balance, and Fitness Level now shows every distinct best performance for the selected month.

  • Profile PR previews and the PR hub now use server-computed record cards so they load faster for athletes with large histories.
