Workout Description

Flight simulator. .5 mile run. Stretch lower body10 sets:10/10 KB halo 35#Upper body stretch10:00 elliptical

Why This Workout Is Easy

This is a low-intensity, recovery-focused session with minimal volume and light loading. The 0.5 mile run and elliptical are conversational-pace aerobic work. KB halos at 35# for 10 sets of 10 reps each are mobility/prehab movements with built-in rest between sets. Stretching bookends the session. No fatigue accumulation, no skill demands, no time pressure. Average athletes complete this easily as prescribed.

Training Focus

This workout develops the following fitness attributes:

  • Flexibility (7/10): Dedicated lower body stretching and KB halos emphasize shoulder mobility and thoracic rotation. Significant mobility work throughout the session.
  • Endurance (6/10): The 0.5 mile run and 10-minute elliptical session provide moderate cardiovascular demand. Combined aerobic work tests aerobic capacity without extreme duration or intensity.
  • Stamina (4/10): Ten sets of 10/10 KB halos with light weight (35#) and stretching create minimal muscular endurance demand. Low volume and intensity limit stamina stimulus.
  • Speed (3/10): Minimal speed emphasis. Steady-paced running and elliptical work with controlled KB movements. No sprint cycling or rapid transitions required.
  • Strength (2/10): Light kettlebell halos at 35# require minimal force production. This is relative bodyweight and light load work, not strength-focused.
  • Power (1/10): No explosive movements present. KB halos are controlled, deliberate movements. Running and elliptical are steady-state efforts without power demands.
